My Contribution to this Project
As part of a small team of 3, my role was to work with an artist and producer to develop the game using Unity and C# scripting. As the sole programmer on the team, I was in charge of realising the ideas put forward by the producer, as well as the designs that were generated by our meetings, using C# scripts. I coded the game's mechanics of moving,aiming and firing, and also triggered animations and particle FX when the player performed certain actions. This was all to compel the player down a narrative path.

Overview
Lux and the Shadowmaker is a first-person narrative experience made with Unity. The player assumes control of Lux, a child who wakes up one night and wonders into the garden. The player is chased by the Shadowmaker, a monster which appears randomly and must be dispelled by the player using a simple shooting mechanic as they explore the fairy-tale world, uncovering its stories.
